Cél

A hallgatók átfogó képet kapnak a földrajzi környezetről annak változásairól és a gazdasággal való kapcsolatáról. Megismerik a társadalom fejlődésének, a gazdaságot befolyásoló tényezőit, azok kapcsolatát, egymásra épülését, a gazdaság fejlődésének korszakait, annak ágazatait, teljesítményét, földrajzi eloszlását. A társadalomról és gazdaságról szerzett ismereteik segítségével képesek legyenek tájékozódni a világgazdaság folyamatairól, tudják a folyamatok összefüggéseit értékelni és felhasználni, képesek legyenek elemezni és értelmezni a földrajzi munkamegosztás következményeit.

Cél angol

Purpose The students get an overall picture of the geographical environment, its changes and relations with the economy. They get acquainted with the factors affecting social development and the economy, their relations, interdependence, the periods, sectors, performance and geographical distribution of economic development. Based upon their knowledge on society and economy, they are able to get oriented on the processes of the world, evaluate and apply the relations of the processes, analyse and interpret the consequences of geographical labour share.

Tartalom

A hallgatók képet kapnak a társadalom- és gazdaságföldrajz ágazatairól, helyéről, szerepéről, a tudományok világában. Megismerik a világ energiaellátásának problémáit, az alternatív energiahordozók felhasználásának lehetőségeit, a világ ásványkincs- bányászatát, a Föld ipari termelésének időbeli szakaszait, területi elhelyezkedését, átrendeződését, ágazatait, a mezőgazdaság ágazatainak fejlődését, térbeli elhelyezkedését. Ismereteket szereznek a közlekedés gazdasági jelentőségéről, ágazatairól, a világkereskedelem fejlődéséről, annak napjainkban játszott szerepéről. Megismerik a világgazdaság centrumait, azok változását a fejlett és fejlődő országok szerepét a világgazdaságban, az aktuális gazdaságföldrajzi változásokat, a gazdaság várható fejlődésének irányait. Képet kapnak a Föld globális problémáiról, a környezetvédelem szerepéről, fontosságáról. Megismerik a népességfejlődés szakaszait, azok jellemzőit, aktuális problémáit, a települések kialakulását, típusait, a településhálózat változásait, az idegenforgalom gazdaságban játszott szerepét, a turizmus célpontjait. Megismerik a vallások gazdaság fejlődésére gyakorolt hatását, a nyelvek és a kommunikáció szerepét, a társadalmi formák különböző történelmi korszakokban kialakult formáit, azok hatását a jelen korra. Megismerik a politikai, katonai, kulturális, sport, viselkedés, egészség és történeti földrajz alapjait.

Tartalom angol

Content: The students are introduced to the sectors, place and role of social and economic geography in the world of sciences. They get familiar with the problems of global energy supply, the possibilities of using alternative energy carriers, the mineral mining of the world, the temporal stages, location, rearrangement and sectors of the industrial production of the Earth, the development and location of agricultural sectors. They obtain knowledge on the economic significance and sectors of the traffic, the development of world trade, and its contemporary role. Students are also introduced to the centres of global economy, their changes, the role of developed and developing countries in global economy, the current changes in economic geography, and the expectable developmental trends of the economy. They get a picture of the global issues of the Earth, the role and significance of environmental protection. They get acquainted with the phases of population development, their characteristic features, current issues, the evolvement and types of settlements, the changes in settlement network, the role of tourism in economy, and the target points of tourism. They are introduced to the influence of religions on the economic development, the role of languages and communication, the different types of social forms developed in various historical eras, and their effect on our time. They get familiar with the basics of political, military, cultural, sport, behavioural, health and historical geography.
