Cél angol
Course general theoretical foundations of aircraft maintenance and repair of system-oriented design and some core technologies acquaint the students. Technical service of large and small airplanes in the awareness of the target and affect the light aircraft construction technology as well. Prepares to acquire technical license, and the organization and management of aeronautical engineering works.

Theory: Basics of maintenance standards. Application of a maintenance strategy. Requirements of application a maintenance process-optimized strategy. Standards of technical publications in the aircraft industry. Organizing maintenance management on the base of Part-M and 145. Typical defects of airplane’s and helicopter’s structure. Typical damages of airframe. Typical defect of aircraft systems. Typical defects of engines. Inspection method of operability. Inspection and investigation methods of aircraft equipments and parts. Objective inspection methods and automatic checking-monitoring systems. Practice: Exposition of MSG-3 and ATA-100. Presentation of different maintenance operations and technologies (An-2, Z-142, PA-28, C-150/152/172, Ka-26, MD-500, EC-135, Saab-340 A/B). Exposition of technical publication systems (Tu-154B2; B767). Presentation of trouble-shooting methods. Exposition of engine, system running ant test flight processes. Visiting laboratory inspections and introduction of analyzing methods. Presentation of an automatic monitoring system. Aircraft delivery and receive.
Számonkérés
A félév gyakorlati jeggyel zárul, melynek alapja 2 zárthelyi dolgozat (2*40 pont), egy félévi házi feladat (15 pont), valamint az órai aktivitás (5 pont).

The term grade is based on the result of two term tests (2*40 points), one home assignment (15 points), and on the activity during practical courses (5 points).
