After passing the subject the students become able to perform simple model based computer supported development methods and techniques using structure analysis and the knowledge of complex systems.

Tartalom angol

Basics of mechanical enigeering; conventional and modern vehicle-development models. Mathematical basics of trust-theory. Methods for evaluating reliability. Concept of damage-plausibility. Basics of modeling unsystematic load. Concept of combined load, main types. Concept of lifetime-curve and its relation to exhaust-curve. Evaluating damage-plausibility on different load models. Concept of numeric structure-analysis, generating numeric models based on geometric model. Practice of finite-element method in vehicle-technics. Numeric simulation in vehicle-technics. Use of complex systems. Fracture-spread, evaluating remnant lifetime. Fail-safe, safe-life and damage-tolerant philosophy. Seminar: practical tasks using the knowledge of the lectures.
