The goal of the course is to make familiar the students with the main theses of the international and Hungarian literature of the feminist ethics, and to develop their skills in the argumentation in this field of the applied ethics.

Tartalom angol

The first question of the feminist ethics is that: whether exist non-specific differences in the moral activities and behaviours. Traditional opinions of moral philosophy from Kant to Rawls are in Universalist position. By them, the object of the moral acts is the generalised Other. By the representatives of the feminist ethics (Carol Gilliga, Seyla Benhabib, etc.), these classical theories are the expressions of a typical male behaviour. In the feminist ethics has appeared the command of the discovery, and rehabilitation of particular feminine principles. Based on these new principles, it is possible a new discussion of the topics of the moral philosophy, and it will be solved several ethical dilemmas.
