Cél

A hallgatók ismerjék meg az információs és tudástársadalom alapvető fogalmait, történetét, irányzatait, tendenciáit. Kapjanak képet az IT intézményeinek tevékenységéről, az iskolában zajló ismeretszerzés lehetőségeiről.

Cél angol

The main aim of the course is to introduce students to the fundamental issues of the information society , familiarize with the information society, legal, ethical and other aspects.

Tartalom

A tárgy a hallgatókkal megismerteti az információs társadalom fogalmát, kialakulásának rövid történetét, eredményeit, lehetséges hatásait az iskolai könyvtári környezetre. Áttekintést ad a fő fejlődési irányvonalakról, az Európai Unió és hazánk e témában futó programjairól (szervezetek, alapítványok, műhelyek), az EU dokumentációs rendszeréről. Bemutatja az IT alapvető intézményeit, így a könyvtárak szerepéről is szól. A felnövekvő nemzedék számára kulcsfontosságú iskolai könyvtárakban megszerezhető ismeretekről, információkról, projektekről rövid kitekintést ad. Kiemelten foglalkozik a tárgy az Internet témakörével, amely napjainkra a társadalom kritikus infrastruktúrájává vált. Ismerteti az Internet jövőjével kapcsolatos kutatási irányokat.

The conceptual approach to the Information Society: Information, globalization, localization. Characteristics of the knowledge and information society : human-computer interaction, popularizáció, the Internet phenomenon. The evolution of information technology.  The historical development of computerization periods. Information and communication technologies spread in society. Data security, protection of personal data: legal, ethical, psychological and sociological aspects. Information society and libraries - NIIF program concepts development of libraries. Information and communications technologies and their use (www, e-mail, blog, forums etc)
