Cél

A tantárgy elsajátításának célja a környezeti kémia későbbi tárgyalásának elméleti alapozása. A hallgatók középiskolai kémiai tanulmányaikat felelevenítik, jelentősebb hangsúllyal az antropogén környezetterhelést okozó vegyületeken és folyamataikon. Képessé válnak ezekre az ismeretekre építeni a további tanulmányaik folyamán, így megalapozva a szakmai törzsanyag elsajátítását.

Cél angol

The aim of the course is the theoretical foundation of the later environmental chemistry. Students revive their high school studies with an emphasis on the anthropogenic compunds processes that have environmental impact. They become able to build on these skills in further education thus laying the foundations for the mastering of the core subjects.

The aim of the laboratory excercise is that students learn the basic laboratory equipment and their use in practice, be able to perform and analise chemical operations, reactions and simple measurement techniques individually so that they can be applied int he subjects. Practicing basic laboratory measurements and operations. Volume measurement. Weighing. Temperature and density measurement. Warming. Drying. Solution. Filtration. Crystallization. Distillation. Preparation of buffer solutions, hydrolysis of salts. Excercising of simple electro analytical, optical and chromatographic procedures. Ionometric and pH measurements. Colour reactions and spectrophotometry application, the use of indicators and test reactions and functional groups in ion determination. Separation procedures: extraction, dialysis, osmosis, thin layer chromatography.
