A tantárgy célja a világgazdaság jelenségeinek és folyamatinak bemutatása (a neolitikus forradalomtól napjainkig.

The course aims to demonstrate the global economic phenomena and processes of the Neolithic Revolution to the present day.

Tartalom

A történeti földrajz c. stúdium bevezetője a világgazdasági elméletekkel és modellekkel foglalkozik, majd felvázolja a gazdasági élet fejlődését az ősembertől napjainkig. Foglalkozik a gazdálkodás kezdeteivel, a neolitikus forradalommal (Kr. e. 10000-4000), a potamikus kultúrákkal, az első városok és államok gazdálkodásával (Kr. e. 4000-1000), az óvilági birodalmak gazdasági életével (Kr. e. 1000 – Kr. u. 650), az Újvilág ősi kultúrközpontjaival (Kr. e. 1000 – Kr. u. 1600), a feudális kor gazdasági fejlődésével, a 5. századi regionális piacokkal, a sztyeppei népek gazdasági tevékenységével, a merkantil világ kialakulásával (1450-1640), a kereskedelmi kapitalizmus időszakával (1640-1780), az ipari kapitalizmus, a modern világgazdaság kialakulásával (1780-1880), a kolonizációval, a világgazdaság fejlődésének további korszakaival, a gyarmati rendszer felbomlásával, az integrációkkal, a világgazdaság térszerkezetével, a globalizációval stb. A Kárpát-medence természeti képe a honfoglalás és az államalapítás korában. Az emberi tevékenységi formák fejlődése és térbeli rendszerei. A Kárpát-medence népei, interetnikus kapcsolatai és az etnikai térszerkezet változásai (895-1945). A Kárpát-medence településhálózatának kialakulása és fejlődése. A Kárpát-medence földrajzi munkamegosztása, a régiók és az interregionális kapcsolatok kialakulása és fejlődése.
