Cél angol
Course general theoretical foundations of aircraft maintenance and repair of system-oriented design and some core technologies acquaint the students. Technical service of large and small airplanes in the awareness of the target and affect the light aircraft construction technology as well. Prepares to acquire technical license, and the organization and management of aeronautical engineering works.
Tartalom angol
Theory: Operational reliability of aircrafts. Additional requirements in case of aged aircraft maintenance. Causes and consequences of channeling. Effects of heat load on airframe. Defects of a bonded structure. Microbiological corrosion. Inspection of condensation holes and valves. Operating planning and organization of a structure repair. Overhaul procedures of a piston engine, gas turbine, propeller.
Practice: Reliability analysis of a maintenance programme. The role of visual inspection methods in the aircraft maintenance. Visual inspection of airframe and engine. Visual inspection methods, their tools and equipments. Exposition of structure repairs. Studying of overhaul procedure, elements of the informatics background.
Számonkérés
A félév gyakorlati jeggyel zárul, melynek alapja 2 zárthelyi dolgozat (2*40 pont), egy félévi házi feladat (15 pont), valamint az órai aktivitás (5 pont).

The term grade is based on the result of two term tests (2*40 points), one home assignment (15 points), and on the activity during practical courses (5 points).
